Forward thinking housing association require a seasoned business analyst to work with them on their digital transformation journey. You will play a lead role in the project and although a stand alone role, some coaching and mentoring of junior members of the team will be required. You will be supporting the overall digital programme and work with a range of stakeholders to identify opportunities for optimisation of current processes. In terms of key skills, you must be able to demonstrate prior experience of running and assessing test and learn initiatives, customer journey mapping, development of Epics, Use Cases, User Stories and supporting acceptance criteria. If you also have business architecture experience, there will be the opportunity to operate in a wider architecture role in conjunction with this requirement. 5 months initially, £500 per day outside IR35. This is a 4 day per week requirement and you will need to be in the offices in Liverpool frequently so ideally you will be locally based.

This role is initially for 12 months and will pay £70,000 per annum, plus benefits and bonus. The role will involve predominantly remote working but there is an expectation to be in the office in either Manchester or Edinburgh one day per week.

Experience of property refurbishment/facilities management would be useful but is not a prerequisite. With the majority of the estate in scope, the initial analysis phase will identify particular pain points and interdependencies and produce a report that highlights what needs to be replaced/upgraded. A procurement project then needs to be initiated to develop tender documents and vendors invited to participate. Ultimately a new system will be selected and then implemented. This last phase is not part of the initial assignment but may well be added, subject to a contract extension. As you will take control of this process you must be someone who can organise and drive projects from initiation to completion.  An ability to understand current and target processes and data requirements and the features/requirements of new systems will be a core skill. In addition you will possess the interpersonal skills that allow for engagement with senior stakeholders, external suppliers and fellow team members. The organisation is Preston based but you will work largely from home. This is initially a 6 month part-time (likely 2/3 days per week) contract.
