Forward thinking housing association require a seasoned business analyst to work with them on their digital transformation journey. You will play a lead role in the project and although a stand alone role, some coaching and mentoring of junior members of the team will be required. You will be supporting the overall digital programme and work with a range of stakeholders to identify opportunities for optimisation of current processes. In terms of key skills, you must be able to demonstrate prior experience of running and assessing test and learn initiatives, customer journey mapping, development of Epics, Use Cases, User Stories and supporting acceptance criteria. If you also have business architecture experience, there will be the opportunity to operate in a wider architecture role in conjunction with this requirement. 5 months initially, £500 per day outside IR35. This is a 4 day per week requirement and you will need to be in the offices in Liverpool frequently so ideally you will be locally based.

Evolving and forward thinking technology business require a seasoned Business Analyst to join a major transformation programme that is key to the future success of the organisation. We are looking for an individual who can work with a range of business process owners to map out existing processes to help the key stakeholders understand the current state, prior to planned changes to their target operating model. This is a key role within the programme and as such, you must be able to operate independently and establish your credibility quickly and efficiently. Well developed communication skills are a prerequisite along with previous working experience of standard mapping tools and methodologies. Mainly home based with some travel to UK office locations. 6 month initial contract but highly likely to extend.

Fast growing retail financial services organisation with a major transformation agenda involving wholesale changes to their business operations and  IT estate require an experienced Project Manager to plan and manage the end to end implementation of the new IRESS Trading System. Encompassing a solid understanding of the life cycle of security trading activity and a track record in business and technology change, your background must include the successful implementation of an asset trading system into a wealth management environment. An understanding of data quality management and data migration activities would also be useful. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels and work autonomously is also core to the role. The contract will be for initially 9 months, is predominantly home based and pay c£600 per day (outside IR35).

Following a major restructure this UK based Wealth Management organisation requires a Senior Business Analyst to support the changes that are impacting their investment research operations. This includes asset allocation, investment operations, such as governance, due diligence, reporting,  third party management, and input into the new target operating model and organisational design. The role calls for an experienced business analyst with an in-depth understanding of business processes, having worked within a wealth/investment management environment. On a personal level, your credibility with senior stakeholders will be of the highest order as will your organisation and interpersonal skills. This role is initially for 12 months and will pay £70,000 per annum, plus benefits and bonus. The role will involve predominantly remote working but there is an expectation to be in the office in either Manchester or Edinburgh one day per week.

Seasoned PM required to manage a PCI DSS project for a client within the financial services sector. We are looking for an individual who will be responsible for building the plan for the overall project, engage with the relevant stakeholders and ensure all governance is adhered to. This role requires an individual with well developed stakeholder management skills combined with the ability to guide and influence when needed. Previous experience of PCI DSS or payments projects would be advantageous. Initial contract is 3 months but highly likely to extend and this would be a home based role with the requirement to be on site 1 to 2 times per month initially and then moving to once a month.

Following a major restructure this UK based financial services group requires a Senior Project Manager to deliver the new Organisational Design for a significant proportion of the enlarged corporation. Working with a small team of HR SME’s and a broad senior stakeholder group, you will bring project discipline to a politically sensitive and operationally important piece of transformation work. With achievement of the synergies of the restructure as a key objective driving the new OD, you will ensure this programme workstream delivers on time and to budget. On a personal level, your credibility with senior stakeholders will be of the highest order as will your organisation and interpersonal skills. Previous experience of having managed HR workstreams, including during a significant restructure or integration, is a prerequisite coupled with strong generic project management skills. This role is initially for 4 months and will pay £700 per day (outside IR35). The role will involve predominantly remote working but there is an expectation to be in the office one day per week.

Education and community services focussed charity organisation who are evolving and transforming into a best-in-class operation require a hands-on project manager to take on a variety of different initiatives, including a significant refurbishment of their existing site. With a number of important functions located within the property and with major changes planned, you will manage all the key impacts and a range of different suppliers. Further planning and interdependency management is an imperative. The client is looking for a level-headed individual who can efficiently manage multiple workstreams, establish good working relationships with the key stakeholders/suppliers and thrive in a fast moving and sometimes challenging environment. Experience of property refurbishment/facilities management would be useful but is not a prerequisite. The organisation is Warrington based and because of its’ nature, would require you to be on-site 3 days per week. This role is permanent but could be full or part-time. If the latter, 4 days per week is envisaged.

Care and community services focused organisation who are evolving and transforming into a best-in-class operation require consultancy support to enable the transition from legacy to new business operational systems. With the majority of the estate in scope, the initial analysis phase will identify particular pain points and interdependencies and produce a report that highlights what needs to be replaced/upgraded. A procurement project then needs to be initiated to develop tender documents and vendors invited to participate. Ultimately a new system will be selected and then implemented. This last phase is not part of the initial assignment but may well be added, subject to a contract extension. As you will take control of this process you must be someone who can organise and drive projects from initiation to completion.  An ability to understand current and target processes and data requirements and the features/requirements of new systems will be a core skill. In addition you will possess the interpersonal skills that allow for engagement with senior stakeholders, external suppliers and fellow team members. The organisation is Preston based but you will work largely from home. This is initially a 6 month part-time (likely 2/3 days per week) contract.

Expanding and acquisitive UK based financial services organisation who have embarked on a transformation journey, which includes the replacement and re-platforming of existing core systems, require an experienced business analyst to help deliver key integration work. Having gained an understanding of the business, systems and data requirements from stakeholder workshops and one to ones, the role will involve the production of solution designs, specs and target operating models for internal and external 3rd party audiences. Systems changes will of course also go hand in hand with process improvements. You will be an experienced business analyst with an in-depth understanding of business, process and data analysis, previous exposure to both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies, and prior involvement with large scale companywide integration activities. In addition you will possess the interpersonal skills that allow for engagement with senior stakeholders, external suppliers and fellow team members. The role will involve mostly home working with 1 day per week in either Liverpool or Glasgow.
