Care and community services focused organisation who are evolving and transforming into a best-in-class operation require consultancy support to enable the transition from legacy to new business operational systems. With the majority of the estate in scope, the initial analysis phase will identify particular pain points and interdependencies and produce a report that highlights what needs to be replaced/upgraded. A procurement project then needs to be initiated to develop tender documents and vendors invited to participate. Ultimately a new system will be selected and then implemented. This last phase is not part of the initial assignment but may well be added, subject to a contract extension. As you will take control of this process you must be someone who can organise and drive projects from initiation to completion.  An ability to understand current and target processes and data requirements and the features/requirements of new systems will be a core skill. In addition you will possess the interpersonal skills that allow for engagement with senior stakeholders, external suppliers and fellow team members. The organisation is Preston based but you will work largely from home. This is initially a 6 month part-time (likely 2/3 days per week) contract.

Expanding and acquisitive UK based financial services organisation who have embarked on a transformation journey, which includes the replacement and re-platforming of existing core systems, require an experienced business analyst to help deliver key integration work. Having gained an understanding of the business, systems and data requirements from stakeholder workshops and one to ones, the role will involve the production of solution designs, specs and target operating models for internal and external 3rd party audiences. Systems changes will of course also go hand in hand with process improvements. You will be an experienced business analyst with an in-depth understanding of business, process and data analysis, previous exposure to both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies, and prior involvement with large scale companywide integration activities. In addition you will possess the interpersonal skills that allow for engagement with senior stakeholders, external suppliers and fellow team members. The role will involve mostly home working with 1 day per week in either Liverpool or Glasgow.

Market leading niche retail financial services specialist with a major transformation agenda involving significant changes to their IT estate, require an Infrastructure Project Manager with hands-on experience of having implemented an enterprise-wide systems change. Having gained an understanding of IT Infrastructure through project managing technical changes you will have performed the implementation management role on some large scale systems or infrastructure changes, taking responsibility for business readiness activities, cut-over planning, back-out plans, etc. Whilst a natural team player, you must have previously led the implementation workstream and have developed interpersonal skills to manage and communicate at all levels. Your planning skills must be extremely well honed with a keen eye for essential detail and relevant reporting. The ability to influence at various levels and work autonomously is also core to the role. The contract will be for initially 6 months, is predominantly home based and pay c£550-£600 per day (outside IR35).

Niche financial services organisation with a substantial change agenda are looking to secure the services of  a Project Manager to take responsibility for the delivery of a data migration project. You will manage multiple third party relationships as part of this project and therefore must be able to demonstrate previous experience of successful stakeholder engagement and management. Of equal importance is the ability to develop a robust project plan that all parties involved can agree to, which will be critical to successful delivery. Again, you must be able to evidence situations where you have been personally responsible for the project planning combined with managing the various supplier commitments to the plan and challenging where necessary. The initial assignment is for 6 months and the day rate is £550 per day, outside IR35. There is requirement to be in the offices in Cardiff 2 days every 2 weeks initially and then reducing to once a month.

Expanding and acquisitive UK based financial services organisation requires an experienced data analyst to join the data management office and support numerous business change activities. As the data analysis expert, you will provide key insight and recommendations based on the application of in-depth statistical techniques. You will examine complex data to optimise the efficiency and quality of the data being collected, collaborating with colleagues to improve systems and database designs.  To be considered for the role you must possess a proven track record of working with large data sets, which you can transform and analyse to derive data-led insight, then present the findings and  make recommendations. You must have an excellent practical knowledge of T-SQL and relational database concepts along with well developed stakeholder management skills and experience of influencing at executive level. The role is for 12 months and will you will be based both at home and in the office in either Liverpool or Glasgow.

Niche financial services organisation with a substantial change agenda are looking to secure the services of  a seasoned Business Analyst to take the lead on a key project. This project is at the early stages and will require the successful individual to map out a number of operational processes within a specific part of the business to enable migration from a legacy system to a newly identified solution. This will include detailed gap analysis and close involvement with the chosen third party supplier and needs an individual with well developed stakeholder management and communication abilities. The role is predominantly business facing but requires an understanding of some of the more technical elements associated with such projects. Experience of working on mortgage or loan projects would be advantageous. The role is mainly home based with requirement to be on the client site twice a month for 2 days.

Expanding consumer financial services organisation that are pursuing a major change agenda, which includes significant upgrades and enhancements to core systems and business operations, require an experienced business analyst to investigate, order and then migrate data from an existing legacy system into a new central data hub. The data activity may cover other areas of the business and therefore also involve business process changes and new organisational designs. You will be an experienced business analyst with an in-depth understanding of business and process analysis, migration of IT operations and data and previous exposure to both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies. In addition you will possess the interpersonal skills that allow for engagement with senior stakeholders, external suppliers and fellow team members. The organisation is Liverpool based but you will work largely from home. This is initially a 9 month contract and will pay £450 per day (outside IR35).

Niche bank with a substantial change agenda require a seasoned PM to play a key role in delivering the implementation of a new HR/Payroll system. They are at the initial stages of the project and this individual will play a key role in the selection of the system, work closely with the third party supplier and take overall responsibility for successful delivery. A PM with the ability to manage a diverse set of stakeholders is required along with the ability to work within governance principals but be able to be creative when needed. 6 months initially with a high probability of further extensions. The role is outside IR35 and will be home based with 2 to 3 days per month at the client site.

Established and evolving financial services organisation with the backing of a global group are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join them on the next stage of their transformation journey. This role will be part of a newly established change team and therefore you must be adept at working on a stand alone basis and be able to successfully manage and prioritise your own workload. There are a range of projects within the portfolio including a CRM implementation, regulatory change and digital propositions. You will be expected to take the lead on the projects from a BA perspective that are assigned and bring with you a focus on process improvement as well as timely delivery of said projects. Demonstrable previous experience in a hands on BA role is critical and ideally within a financial services environment, as well as the ability to mentor and develop junior members of the team. The base salary is £55,000 to £58,000 (depending on experience) plus an annual bonus and generous benefits package.
