Fast growing, highly profitable and acquisitive niche financial services group, who are experiencing a period of rapid change, require a Project Manager to join an expanding function that will ensure the embedding of strategic and tactical change into this evolving organisation. The main focus of the role will be the managing, end to end, of complex IT and business change projects. You will need to understand and have had practical experience of the scoping, planning, communications, training, stakeholder management and governance required for managing significant changes to existing operational and IT processes, procedures, systems and behaviours. Exceptional stakeholder management skills and an adaptable personality are a prerequisite. You will also be extremely organised, very personable and well able to drive difficult projects to completion. This role is permanent and the salary range is £55-£60,000 pa plus an excellent benefits package.

To be able to do this you will have a thorough knowledge and practical experience (and technical understanding) of digital projects and specifically mobile app development, and the pitfalls associated with them. You will also be extremely well organised, very personable and able to drive projects to completion. This role is for initially 4 months and will pay c£600 per day. The engagement is outside of IR35.

The project will include all phases including scoping and planning, configuration, testing and implementation. This fast moving and forward-looking organisation are transforming key parts of their operations and this systems change is driven by a desire for improved management control and business intelligence. Being multi-site and throughout the UK, they need an experienced and diligent Project Manager to initially review their current status and create a project control framework and plan that will lay the foundations for a successful implementation. The entire project is likely to take 12 months on a 3 day per week basis.  Required is a confident and organised Project Manager who can evidence the successful previous implementation of medium scale finance and accounting systems within ideally consumer service environments. You must have excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

You will then liaise with a diverse and disparate set of global finance departments and create processes that ensure robust reporting. This is first and foremost a hands-on, number crunching, report producing and budget reconciling role. Ideally a qualified accountant, you will be well used to working on large, complex, multi layered change programmes. You must also have excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances. An eye for detail is a pre-requisite. You can be based in Liverpool and/or Manchester will occasional travel to London. The rate is £400-500 per day for initially a 6 month contract.

Your MS Project and Excel skills be excellent and previous experience of MS Project Server is desirable. The role is based in Liverpool and will pay £350-375 per day.
